Time Trace: Visions of Home
August 12, 2013 - August 18, 2013
This workshop is no longer available. Please choose another Ghost Ranch workshop.
Join Karen Kudebeh and Laurelyn Baker for an inspiring week immersed in natural beauty, ceremony, and western science. Stories — spanning 13.7 billion years — of the Universe, Earth, Life, Humans, and Place will be recounted, and both Native American ceremony and the eastern tradition/philosophy of Feng Shui will be integrated with the perspectives given to us by science. A fusion of these three “lineages” facilitates and grounds left brain — right brain understandings of Origin, Place, and Possibility. Opportunities to spend time on the land will be built into the curriculum and the Perseid Meteor Showers will be at their height the week we are there. Participants will be asked to bring a floor plan of their current residence in order to translate our newly enhanced sense of Place back to our homes and communities. The personalized Feng Shui ideas, developed during our collective journey, will be among the many gifts that people can take home from their week at Ghost Ranch.

Karen Kudebeh is the founder of TimeTrace Inc., and the designer of “timespirals.” Her programs bridge the worlds of science and art, time and place, past and future. For more than 20 years, Karen worked as an Environmental Policy Planner for the State of Colorado, honing her abilities to translate science and technology into policy choices for commissions, legislative committees and citizens. Now she incorporates scientific and historical information into spiral timelines, and presents The Story and Science of Belonging- about how All Life fits into a 13.7 billion year narrative. Karen inspires and supports people to honor their own ancestry, intentions, and story of the Place they call Home. www. timetrace. com
