Do you love to cut pictures out of magazines? Do you check if there are new glitter pens on
aisle 9? How about looking through that bright bold gift paper? Have you ordered the latest
washi tape? Or do you dream of an artful, yet simple journal organized to meet your needs?
How about a travel journal that allows you to hide treasures from your trip inside it? Then
this class is for you!
During our time together we will alter no-longer-used hardbound books working toward what
you have envisioned. We will stamp, cut, emboss, stitch, staple, tear, edge, glue, paint, and
carve our way to your finished product. You will learn about various methods of altering
pages, using embellishments, and recycling, to create your artwork, scrapbook, keepsake,
gift, or journal. Participants will leave the class with their amazing book and a bag of
treasures to create more pages.
Please Note: Instruction will begin the evening of arrival from 7pm to 8:30 pm. There is a full day of instruction on day two and the third and final morning instruction will be given from 10am to Noon. Lunch on the day of departure will be optional and will be paid for separately from course tuition.
