Earth Body is a winter retreat of slow and gentle eco-somatic movement to reconnect your body to a sense of place through imagination, intuition, memory and multi-sensory listening. We will experience renewal with creative practices inspired by nature and the underground seeds breathing dreams into life. Reconnect with yourself through the spiral of branches against wintry sunsets, the transformative warmth of fire, and timeless arcs of stargazing.

Led by Rulan, a dance artist with decades of international experience and a cancer survivor. She has experienced the life-giving power of simple, restorative and intuitive movement and now extends her professional dance dedication to offer simple forms that are accessible to all. Rulan shares from a spirit of empowerment and encouragement of individual sovereignty so you can adapt and grow through movement.

No dance background is necessary but those at advanced physical level will enjoy deepening the purpose of movement; and those with interest in trying forms such as yoga, stretch/strength, tai chi and breathwork will be nourished by this uniquely poetic expression of motion!

January is often a crystallizing time of renewal and this retreat offers a gentle flow of movement arts that are both relaxing and invigorating, connecting the inner dreamscape to the outer landscape through eco- somatic embodiment practices.
